The free trial

• It starts automatically when you sign up. There is nothing to claim and no card to enter.
• It gives you 2 statement uploads and 10 AI chat messages — in total, not per month.
• It ends after 7 days, or as soon as you have used those allowances, whichever comes first.
• When it ends, everything you have already uploaded stays available — your dashboard and category breakdowns keep working. Only new uploads and AI chat are paused.
• You are never charged and there is nothing to cancel. To carry on with Pro you subscribe deliberately.
• One trial per account.

What “unlimited chat” means

Pro has no message counter. It is instead governed by a fair-use budget of US$2.00 per month in underlying AI costs — far more than normal personal use, but enough to stop automated or abusive traffic. In the unlikely event you reach it, chat pauses until your budget resets on the 1st of the following month. Every other Pro feature keeps working. We would rather state this plainly than print “unlimited” and quietly throttle you.

How uploads are counted

Pro gives you 4 statement uploads per month. Every statement you upload uses one, and the allowance resets on the 1st of each month. If an upload fails to process, its slot is returned to you rather than spent.

Billing and payment

• Currency: all prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable.
• Payment processor: subscriptions are billed through Paystack. Your card details go to Paystack directly — Track Spend never sees or stores them.
• Renewal: Pro is a monthly recurring subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.
• Cancelling: cancel at any time; your Pro access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for.
